In Tuesday's league battle, the host Haddon Heights Garnets soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Haddon Township Hawks.

The Garnets (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against West Deptford (Westville, NJ). The Eagles come into the Colonial battle with a 2-0 record. In their last battle, West Deptford nudged Haddonfield (Haddonfield, NJ), 3-2, in a league test.

With the loss, Haddon Township drops to 0-2 on the season. The Hawks host Sterling (Somerdale, NJ) to meet the Silver Knights in a Colonial test on Thursday, September 14. The Silver Knights come into the test with a record of 2-1. Sterling won 7-0 in their recent league test against Collingswood (Collingswood, NJ)
