In Tuesday's non-league battle, the host Lakewood Leopards soccer squad scored a good 9-0 win over the West Columbus Vikings.
The Leopards (3-3) will now prepare for their battle against East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC). The Gators go into the non-league battle with a 0-5 record. In their last battle, East Columbus was overwhelmed by South Columbus (Tabor City, NC), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Vikings (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC). The Wolfpack go into the Waccamaw 1A/2A battle with a 1-6 record. In their last battle, Whiteville was overwhelmed by Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC), 3-1, in a league battle.
