Next, the Blackcats confront the Menifee County Wildcats (Frenchburg, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Prestonsburg will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a 5-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Fleming County (Flemingsburg, KY).

The Bulldogs now have a 8-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pikeville for a District 58 challenge on Thursday, September 14. Lawrence County will confront a Panthers team coming off a 10-0 non-league win over Knott County Central (Hindman, KY). The Panthers record now stands at 5-5.
