Riverside Pirates (Boardman, OR) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Umatilla Vikings (Umatilla, OR), 8-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Pirates confront the Sisters Outlaws (Sisters, OR) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Riverside will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Outlaws enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Crook County (Prineville, OR).
The Vikings now possess a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to McLoughlin for a 3A/2A/1A-SD6 Special District 6 challenge on Saturday, September 16. Umatilla will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 8-0 league win over Four Rivers (Ontario, OR). The Pioneers record now stands at 5-0.
