West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC), 6-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolverines confront the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. West Cabarrus will attempt to better on its 11-0 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC).

The Vikings now have a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Alexander Central for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 13. South Iredell will confront a Cougars team coming off a 6-1 non-league loss to Cuthbertson (Waxhaw, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-2.
