Georgia High School Softball - Model gets by Fannin County

September 12, 2023: Rome, GA 30161

The Model Blue Devils (Rome, GA) softball nipped the visiting Fannin County Rebels (Blue Ridge, GA), 13-12 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Blue Devils (6-6) will now prepare for their bout against Haralson County (Tallapoosa, GA). The Rebels go into the 2A Region 7 bout with a 6-6 record. In their last bout, Haralson County was edged by Gordon Lee (Chickamauga, GA), 8-0, in a non-league bout.

The Rebels now possess a 3-9 record. They play next when they host Gordon Central for a 2A Region 7 bout on Thursday, September 14. Fannin County will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 21-4 non-league loss to Christian Heritage (Dalton, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 0-7.
