The Holden Eagles routed the visiting Lafayette County Huskers softball squad by a final score of 12-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Eagles (11-3) will now prepare for their battle against Richmond (Richmond, MO). The Spartans go into the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Richmond was routed by Braymer (Braymer, MO), 7-3, in a non-league battle.

The Huskers now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael the Archangel for a non-league battle on Wednesday, September 13. Lafayette County will confront a Guardians squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Penney (Hamilton, MO). The Guardians record now stands at 3-8.
