The crowd at Tuesday's league match between the Sequoyah Indians (Tahlequah, OK) and the visiting Kansas Comets (Kansas, OK), saw Sequoyah's softball squad nip Kansas by a count of 13-12.

The Indians now sport a 25-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quapaw for a non-league match on Thursday, September 14. Sequoyah will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 15-0 league win over Welch (Welch, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 11-13.

With the loss, Kansas falls to 17-18 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Commerce (Commerce, OK) to face the Tigers in a non-league match on Thursday, September 14. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 5-10. Commerce lost 10-0 in their recent league match against Wyandotte (Wyandotte, OK)
