The McCluer Comets softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Normandy Vikings to 3 in the Comets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, McCluer moves its record to 1-4 on the year. The Comets host Hazelwood East (St. Louis, MO) to play the Spartans in a Class 4 District 6 game on Thursday, September 14. The Spartans come into the game with a record of 0-4.

In their next game, the Vikings play the Ladue Horton Watkins Rams (St. Louis, MO) in a non-league game, on Thursday, September 14. Normandy will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 4-3 record after their 20-4 non-league win over McCluer North (Florissant, MO).
