Texas High School Volleyball - Angleton overwhelmed by Friendswood

In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Friendswood Mustangs volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Angleton Wildcats.

The Mustangs (15-8) will now prepare for their battle against Dawson (Pearland, TX). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 24-8 record. In their last battle, Dawson achieved victory over Alief Taylor (Houston, TX), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Wildcats clash with the Santa Fe Indians (Santa Fe, TX) in a 5A Region III District 18 battle, on Friday, September 15. Angleton will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 10-17 record after their 3-0 league win over Ball (Galveston, TX).
