The Vega Longhorns volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Ascension Academy Cardinals to 0 in the Longhorns non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Longhorns now have a 11-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shamrock for a non-league game on Saturday, September 16.

The Cardinals (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Miami (Miami, TX). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 15-7 record. In their last game, Miami gained a win over Memphis (Memphis, TX), 3-0, in a non-league game.
