The Austin-East Roadrunners volleyball team (Knoxville, TN), went down 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league challenge with the host Gatlinburg-Pittman Highlanders (Gatlinburg, TN)

The Highlanders (2-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Seymour (Seymour, TN). The Eagles come into the AA District 3 challenge with a 10-12 record. In their last challenge, Seymour defeated Northview Academy (Kodak, TN), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Roadrunners encounter the Fulton Falcons (Knoxville, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Austin-East will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 5-10 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Stone Memorial (Crossville, TN).
