Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Avella routed by Mapletown

The Avella Eagles volleyball team (Avella, PA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Mapletown Maples (Greensboro, PA)

The Maples (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson-Morgan (Jefferson, PA). The Rockets enter the WPIAL 1A 2 challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Jefferson-Morgan defeated Carmichaels (Carmichaels, PA), 3-2, in a league challenge.

Next, the Eagles encounter the California Trojans (Coal Center, PA) in a WPIAL 1A 2 challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Avella will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
