In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Pike Liberal Arts Patriots volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Barbour County Jaguars.
The Patriots (4-3) will now prepare for their battle against Goshen (Goshen, AL). The Eagles come into the 2A Area 5 battle with a 2-6 record. In their last battle, Goshen lost by Luverne (Luverne, AL), 3-2, in a league battle.
Next, the Jaguars clash with the Ariton Purple Cats (Ariton, AL) in a 2A Area 4 battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Barbour County will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record.
