The Heritage Hurricanes volleyball team (Newport News, VA), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Bethel Bruins (Hampton, VA)

The Bruins (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Denbigh (Newport News, VA). The Patriots enter the Peninsula challenge with a 1-10 record. In their last challenge, Denbigh was dropped by Kecoughtan (Hampton, VA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Hurricanes meet the Gloucester Dukes (Gloucester, VA) in a Peninsula challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Heritage will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Dukes enter the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 league win over Phoebus (Hampton, VA).
