Ohio High School Volleyball - Black River crushed by Wellington

September 12, 2023: Sullivan, OH 44880

The Wellington Dukes volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Black River Pirates to 0 in the Dukes league victory on Tuesday.

The Dukes now have a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookside for a Lorain County game on Thursday, September 14. Wellington will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 3-0 league win over Oberlin (Oberlin, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-4.

The Pirates (6-4) will now prepare for their game against Firelands (Oberlin, OH). The Falcons enter the Lorain County game with a 7-3 record. In their last game, Firelands dropped by Columbia (Columbia Station, OH), 3-0, in a league game.
