The Blacksburg Bruins volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Salem Spartans to 2 in the Bruins league victory on Tuesday.
The Bruins now possess a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Franklin County for a non-league game on Thursday, September 14. Blacksburg will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Patrick Henry (Roanoke, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-3.
The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans enter the River Ridge game with a 10-0 record. In their last game, Hidden Valley nipped Pulaski County (Dublin, VA), 3-0, in a league game.
