The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Maple River Eagles (Mapleton, MN) and the host Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN), saw Maple River's volleyball squad nip Blooming Prairie by a tally of 3-2.
With the win, Maple River upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Eagles host Sargent County (Milnor, ND) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 1-2.
The Awesome Blossoms now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Hayfield for a Gopher bout on Thursday, September 14. Blooming Prairie will play a Vikings squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Bethlehem Academy (Faribault, MN). The Vikings record now stands at 3-5.
