Nebraska High School Volleyball - Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] over Boyd County

The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats (Clearwater, NE) and the visiting Boyd County Spartans (Spencer, NE), saw Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard]'s volleyball squad beat Boyd County by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] upgrades its record to 8-5 on the year. The Bobcats host Crofton (Crofton, NE) to play the Warriors in a C2 District 5 bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Crofton lost 3-1 in their recent non-league bout against Pierce (Pierce, NE)

The Spartans now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Gregory for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. Boyd County will play a Gorillas squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Parkston (Parkston, SD). The Gorillas record now stands at 3-5.
