The Calloway County Lakers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Marshall County Marshals to 2 in the Lakers league victory on Tuesday.

The Lakers now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Christian Fellowship for a District 4 game on Thursday, September 14. Calloway County will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Ballard Memorial (Barlow, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 4-6.

The Marshals (4-5) will now prepare for their game against Mayfield (Mayfield, KY). The Cardinals enter the non-league game with a 17-2 record. In their last game, Mayfield nipped Murray (Murray, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
