The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Carlynton Cougars (Carnegie, PA) and the host Cornell Raiders (Coraopolis, PA), saw Carlynton's volleyball squad beat Cornell by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Carlynton upgrades its record to 4-1 on the year. The Cougars host South Side (Hookstown, PA) to play the Rams in a non-league bout on Monday, September 18. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 0-2.

The Raiders now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Bishop Canevin for a WPIAL 1A 3 bout on Thursday, September 14. Cornell will play a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Eden Christian Academy (Pittsburgh, PA). The Crusaders record now stands at 4-0.
