The West Branch Bears volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Cascade Cougars to 0 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Bears now have a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Regina for a River Valley South game on Thursday, September 14. West Branch will meet a Regals team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Bishop Heelan Catholic (Sioux City, IA). The Regals record now stands at 11-5.

The Cougars (7-5) will now prepare for their game against Monticello (Monticello, IA). The Panthers enter the River Valley North game with a 8-4 record. In their last game, Monticello gained a win over Anamosa (Anamosa, IA), 3-2, in a league game.
