The Castro Valley Trojans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting San Leandro Pirates to 0 in the Trojans league victory on Tuesday.

The Trojans now have a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piedmont for a West Alameda County - Foothill game on Friday, September 15. Castro Valley will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to St. Joseph Notre Dame (Alameda, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 1-6.

The Pirates (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Bishop O'Dowd (Oakland, CA). The Dragons enter the West Alameda County - Foothill game with a 1-7 record. In their last game, Bishop O'Dowd dropped by Marin Catholic (Kentfield, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
