With the win, Cherokee Christian upgrades its record to 6-10 on the year. The Warriors host The King's Academy (Woodstock, GA) to play the Knights in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 7-7. The King's Academy lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Johnson Ferry Christian Academy (Marietta, GA)

The Paladins now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Lanier Christian Academy for a GAPPS DI-AAA Region 2 bout on Thursday, September 14. Pinecrest Academy will play a Lightning squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA). The Lightning record now stands at 19-2.
