North Carolina High School Volleyball - Mountain Island Charter over Corvian Community

September 12, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28269

Mountain Island Charter Raptor (Mt. Holly, NC) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Raptor battle the Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC) in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A match, on Thursday, September 14. Mountain Island Charter will attempt to better on its 10-4 season record. The Bears come into the match with a 2-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC).

With the loss, Corvian Community drops to 4-3 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to battle the Pride in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A match on Thursday, September 14. The Pride come into the match with a record of 4-8. Pine Lake Prep won 3-0 in their recent league match against Langtree Charter (Mooresville, NC)
