The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) and the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals (Ronda, NC), saw North Stokes's volleyball squad beat East Wilkes by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, North Stokes upgrades its record to 5-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC) to play the Sauras in a Northwest 1A bout on Thursday, September 14. The Sauras go into the bout with a record of 4-7. South Stokes won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Starmount (Boonville, NC)

The Cardinals now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Wilkes Central for a non-league bout on Thursday, September 14. East Wilkes will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-8.
