North Carolina High School Volleyball - Enka over McDowell

The Enka Jets (Enka, NC) volleyball overcame the host McDowell Titans (Marion, NC), 3-1 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Enka upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Jets travel to North Buncombe (Weaverville, NC) to play the Black Hawks in a The Mountain 3A/4A outing on Thursday, September 14. The Black Hawks go into the outing with a record of 2-9. North Buncombe won 3-1 in their recent non-league outing against Mitchell (Bakersville, NC)

The Titans now own a 8-2 record. They play next when they host R-S Central for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 13. McDowell will play a Hilltoppers squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to East Rutherford (Forest City, NC). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 2-8.
