Ohio High School Volleyball - Fairfield tips Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington

In Tuesday's league contest, the Fairfield Lions (Leesburg, OH) volleyball squad nudged the visiting Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington Blue Jays (Ripley, OH), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Lions face the Whiteoak Wildcats (Mowrystown, OH) in a Southern Hills contest, on Thursday, September 14. Fairfield will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Wildcats go into the contest with a 8-2 record after their 3-2 league win over Fayetteville-Perry (Fayetteville, OH).

With the loss, Ripley-Union-Lewis-Huntington moves to 2-4 on the year. The Blue jays host Peebles (Peebles, OH) to face the Indians in a Southern Hills contest on Wednesday, September 13. The Indians go into the contest with a record of 6-2. Peebles won 3-0 in their recent league contest against West Union (West Union, OH)
