Virginia High School Volleyball - Giles over Galax

In Tuesday's league contest, the Giles Spartans (Pearisburg, VA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, September 18. Giles will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 3-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Glenvar (Salem, VA).

With the loss, Galax moves to 4-4 on the year. The Maroon tide travel to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA) to battle the Bears in a Mountain Empire challenge on Thursday, September 14. The Bears enter the challenge with a record of 5-2. Bland County won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Graham (Bluefield, VA)
