Virginia High School Volleyball - Gate City over John Battle

Gate City Blue Devils (Gate City, VA) backers left the game in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host John Battle Trojans (Bristol, VA), 3-1 in a league match.

Next up, the Blue Devils battle the Lee Generals (Jonesville, VA) in a Mountain 7 match, on Thursday, September 14. Gate City will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Generals come into the match with a 1-1 record after their 3-0 league loss to Abingdon (Abingdon, VA).

With the loss, John Battle drops to 9-3 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Abingdon (Abingdon, VA) to battle the Falcons in a Mountain 7 match on Thursday, September 14.
