The Pickens County Tornadoes volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Greensboro Raiders to 0 in the Tornadoes non-league victory on Tuesday.

The Tornadoes now have a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Spirit Catholic for a 1A Area 9 game on Thursday, September 14. Pickens County will meet a Saints team coming off a 3-0 league loss to South Lamar (Millport, AL). The Saints record now stands at 1-10.

The Raiders (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Southside (Selma, AL). The Panthers enter the 3A Area 5 game with a 0-1 record.
