The Piggott Mohawks volleyball team (Piggott, AR), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the visiting Hoxie Mustangs (Hoxie, AR)

The Mustangs (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Harrisburg (Harrisburg, AR). The Hornets enter the 3A Northeast challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Harrisburg nipped Bald Knob (Bald Knob, AR), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Mohawks meet the Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR) in a 3A Northeast challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Piggott will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 3-1 league loss to Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR).
