The Rice Consolidated Raiders volleyball team (Altair, TX), was dropped 3-0 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Industrial Cobras (Vanderbilt, TX)

The Cobras (10-21) will now prepare for their challenge against Tidehaven (El Maton, TX). The Tigers enter the 3A Region IV District 25 challenge with a 14-15 record. In their last challenge, Tidehaven was dropped by Yoakum (Yoakum, TX), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Raiders meet the Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Friday, September 15. Rice Consolidated will attempt to move on its 9-23 season record. The Sharks enter the challenge with a 12-15 record after their 3-0 league loss to Edna (Edna, TX).
