In Tuesday's non-league battle, the visiting Johnson Atomsmashers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Jenkins Warriors.
The Atomsmashers (6-6) will now prepare for their battle against St. Vincent's (Savannah, GA). The Saints come into the 3A Area 3 battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, St. Vincent's was edged by Effingham County (Springfield, GA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Warriors clash with the St. Vincent's Saints (Savannah, GA) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 14. Jenkins will attempt to advance on its 1-14 season record. The Saints come into the battle with a 14-5 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Effingham County (Springfield, GA).
