The Johnson County Longhorns volleyball team (Mountain City, TN), was nudged 3-2 in Tuesday's league challenge with the host Sullivan East Patriots (Bluff City, TN)

The Patriots (9-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Virginia High (Bristol, VA). The Bearcats enter the non-league challenge with a 1-6 record. In their last challenge, Virginia High was nudged by Tennessee (Bristol, TN), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Longhorns encounter the Chuckey-Doak Black Knights (Afton, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 14. Johnson County will attempt to move on its 7-9 season record. The Black Knights enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-1 league loss to Greeneville (Greeneville, TN).
