In Tuesday's league battle, the host Oppenheim-Ephratah/St. Johnsville Wolves volleyball team scored a 3-1 triumph over the Middleburgh Knights.

The Wolves (3-2) will now prepare for their battle against Berne-Knox-Westerlo (Berne, NY). The Bulldogs come into the Section 2 Western - Northern battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Berne-Knox-Westerlo achieved victory over Mekeel Christian Academy (Schenectady, NY), 3-2, in a league battle.

Next, the Knights clash with the Fonda-Fultonville Braves (Fonda, NY) in a Section 2 Western - Northern battle, on Thursday, September 14. Middleburgh will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record. The Braves come into the battle with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Schoharie (Schoharie, NY).
