The Mineral County Serpents volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Sierra Sage Academy/Right Of Passage Rams to 0 in the Serpents league victory on Tuesday.

The Serpents now have a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Excel Christian for a 1A Western game on Thursday, September 14. Mineral County will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Whittell (Zephyr Cove, NV). The Warriors record now stands at 0-4.

The Rams (1-6) will now prepare for their game against Virginia City (Virginia City, NV). The Muckers enter the 1A Western game with a 4-7 record. In their last game, Virginia City gained a win over Pyramid Lake (Nixon, NV), 3-1, in a league game.
