The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Pleasantville Trojans (Pleasantville, IA) and the host Wayne Falcons (Corydon, IA), saw Pleasantville's volleyball squad beat Wayne by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Pleasantville upgrades its record to 12-4 on the year. The Trojans host Madrid (Madrid, IA) to play the Tigers in a West Central bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-9. Madrid lost 3-1 in their recent league bout against Interstate 35 (Truro, IA)
The Falcons now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Mount Ayr for a Pride of Iowa bout on Saturday, September 16. Wayne will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over East Union (Afton, IA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-4.
