The Stone Tomcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Wayne County War Eagles to 1 in the Tomcats non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Tomcats now have a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Laurel for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 19.
The War Eagles (3-15) will now prepare for their game against East Central (Moss Point, MS). The Hornets enter the Class 5 Region 8 game with a 9-9 record. In their last game, East Central gained a win over Laurel (Laurel, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
