South Dakota High School Football - Todd County triumphant over Mahpiya Luta

September 12, 2024: Mission, SD 57555

The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Todd County Falcons (Mission, SD) and the visiting Mahpiya Luta Crusaders (Pine Ridge, SD), witnessed Todd County's football squad wallop Mahpiya Luta by a tally of 48-6.

The Falcons (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against St. Francis Indian (St. Francis, SD). The Warriors enter the All-Nations - East (9 Man) contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, St. Francis Indian was trounced by Cheyenne-Eagle Butte/Tiospaye Topa (Eagle Butte, SD), 30-22, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Crusaders confront the Winnebago Indians (Winnebago, NE) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, September 19. Mahpiya Luta will attempt to better on its 0-3 season record. The Indians enter the contest with a 3-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over McLaughlin (McLaughlin, SD).
