The Marshall Barristers volleyball squad (Los Angeles, CA), was edged 2-1 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Taft Toreadors (Woodland Hills, CA)

With the win, Taft improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Toreadors travel to Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA) to encounter the Normans in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 14. The Normans go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Barristers now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a battle on Monday, September 16. Marshall will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Roosevelt (Los Angeles, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
