Quincy Blue Devils (Quincy, IL) followers left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL), 2-1 in a league test.
With the win, Quincy advances its record to 3-1 on the season. The Blue Devils host East Moline United (East Moline, IL) to face the Panthers in a test on Monday, September 16. The Panthers go into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Golden Warriors now sport a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rock Island for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 17. Sterling will face a Rocks squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Quincy (Quincy, IL). The Rocks record now stands at 0-1.
