In Thursday's non-league outing, the visiting Altoona Mountain Lions soccer squad scored a tight 5-1 victory over the State College Little Lions.

The Mountain Lions (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Bishop McDevitt (Harrisburg, PA). The Crusaders go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Bishop McDevitt got by Red Land (Lewisberry, PA), 3-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Little Lions confront the Jersey Shore Bulldogs (Jersey Shore, PA) in a non-league outing, on Friday, September 13. State College will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Bulldogs go into the outing with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Mifflinburg (Mifflinburg, PA).
