Bangor Slaters (Bangor, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA), 6-0 in a league test.

With the triumph, Bangor moves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Slaters travel to Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA) to clash with the Olympians in a non-league test on Saturday, September 14. The Olympians come into the test with a record of 0-4.

The Blue Bombers now sport a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Moravian Academy for a Colonial test on Saturday, September 14. Palmerton will clash with a Lions team coming off a 3-1 league win over Palisades (Kintnersville, PA). The Lions record now stands at 7-1.
