Jefferson County Patriots (Dandridge, TN) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Morristown-Hamblen East Hurricanes (Morristown, TN), 9-0 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Jefferson County moves its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Patriots host Sevier County (Sevierville, TN) to meet the Smoky Bears in a AAA District 2 test on Thursday, September 19. The Smoky Bears come into the test with a record of 7-2. Sevier County won 9-2 in their recent non-league test against Pigeon Forge (Pigeon Forge, TN)

The Hurricanes now sport a 0-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Providence Academy for a non-league test on Friday, September 13. Morristown-Hamblen East will meet a team coming off a 2-1 league win over Christian Academy of Knoxville (Knoxville, TN). The record now stands at 9-2.
