Minnesota High School Soccer - St. Cloud Cathedral knocks off Melrose

In Thursday's league outing, the visiting St. Cloud Cathedral Crusaders soccer squad scored a nice 8-0 victory over the Melrose Dutchmen.
The Crusaders (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN). The Green Wave go into the Class A Section 8 outing with a 3-0 record. In their last outing, East Grand Forks prevailed over Crookston (Crookston, MN), 7-0, in a league outing.
Next up, the Dutchmen play the Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Wolves (Walker, MN) in a Class A Section 8 outing, on Monday, September 16. Melrose will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record. The Wolves go into the outing with a 2-3 record after their 3-1 league loss to St. John's Prep (Collegeville, MN).
