Fans at Thursday's league battle between the Prestonsburg Blackcats (Prestonsburg, KY) and the host Shelby Valley Wildcats (Pikeville, KY), saw Prestonsburg's soccer squad overwhelm Shelby Valley by a count of 12-0.

The Blackcats (6-2) will now prepare for their battle against Greenup County (Greenup, KY). The Musketeers enter the non-league battle with a 4-9 record. In their last battle, Greenup County notched a victory over West Carter (Olive Hill, KY), 8-0, in a league battle.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 14. Shelby Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-9 season record.
