North Carolina High School Volleyball - East Mecklenburg tips Charlotte Catholic

In Thursday's non-league challenge, the visiting East Mecklenburg Eagles volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Charlotte Catholic Cougars.

The Eagles (11-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Providence (Charlotte, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Providence edged Garinger (Charlotte, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars play the Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, September 18. Charlotte Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record.
