In Thursday's non-league challenge, the host Pine Lake Prep Pride volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Corvian Community Cardinals.
The Pride (7-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Eagles enter the non-league challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln Charter was beaten by Christ the King (Huntersville, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cardinals meet the Bradford Prep Bears (Charlotte, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Corvian Community will attempt to upgrade on its 3-8 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC).
