In Thursday's league challenge, the visiting Currituck County Knights volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Pasquotank County Panthers.

The Knights (5-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA). The Hornets enter the non-league challenge with a 1-4 record. In their last challenge, Deep Creek beat Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers meet the First Flight Nighthawks (Kill Devil Hills, NC) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 17. Pasquotank County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Nighthawks enter the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Holmes (Edenton, NC).
